sex in our media culture and ancient culture

I think that the reason that sex has been a part of pop culture is because it's a big part of human civilization. Ancient civilizations such as the Romans, Greeks and Egyptians had sex in the center of their main stream culture. I think that the sex culture we see today in the media is just a repetance of the original culture of human beings before it was destroyed by Judeo-Christianity. In my opinion, the video clips that we saw in our class is just the new form of what the Greeks and the ROmans did when they created their classical sculptures or when they created their mythology. The difference is that our media today focuses more on the objectification of women, while in Ancient cultures the objectification is spread more evenly to both races.
